Download update version 13.05

With the explanation below you can download and install the update of the stand alone product. Please follow these instructions:

1. Press this link to update version 13.05.
2. Your browser will start the download. Click on the downloaded file.
3. You will download a .exe file. Your browser will show the warning ‘Windows protected your PC’.
4. Click on More info.
5. Click on Run anyway.
6. The file will start.
7. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Download full version 13.05

With the explanation below you can download and install the full stand alone version. You only need to do this when you haven’t installed ZooEasy stand alone on your pc and when you have a license for version 13. Please follow these instructions:

1. Press this link to download version 13.05.
2. Your browser will start the download. Click on the downloaded file.

Switching to ZooEasy Online

Error messages

If you get an error message (such as 380 “Invalid property value”), you can solve this as follows in most cases:

1. Close ZooEasy
2. Download the update version 13.05 (see above) if you have version 13. For other versions, you don’t have to download anything.
3. Use the Windows Explorer to access the ZooEasy folder
4. Double-click the file repair.exe
5. Click Repair database and then OK
6. Click Check layout lists and then click OK
7. Click Close

Transfer Stand Alone to another computer

Stand Alone can only be installed on Windows computers. To transfer the database from your old PC to your new PC, follow these steps:

The easiest way to do this is by using a USB stick.

1. Install ZooEasy on the new computer.
2. Start ZooEasy on the old computer.
3. Close the list of animals so that only the main menu is open.
4. Click on File in the menu.
5. Click on the Create backup option.
6. In the screen then displayed, in the folder list, look up the USB stick.
7. Now save the backup to the USB stick.
8. When this process is finished, a message will appear, after which you can remove the USB stick from the PC.
9. Insert the USB stick into the new computer.
10. Start ZooEasy on the new computer.
11. Close the list of animals so that only the main menu is open.
12. Click on File in the menu.
13. Click on the Restore backup option.
14. In the screen then displayed, in the folder list, look up the USB stick.
15. The USB stick contains a file called “database.mdb”.
16. You select that file (1x click), after which you click Open.
17. ZooEasy now loads the database and the program starts.

Enter serial number and activation code

The license with your serial number and activation code was sent to you in the mail you received after purchase. In this mail, you will find an explanation on how to fill in this form so that ZooEasy will not remain in demo mode and you can add more than 22 animals.
